looks super nice. Im probably in.

The RTX I/O excites me too.

I have ÂŁ650 waiting to push the order button when can.

Borderlands 3 looked stuttery - probably software issues. Tomb Raider looked like Tomb Raider. Control looked breathtakingly beautiful.

4K has been around for a while… and when you have (1080P) monitors that are pushing 240Hz, the idea of just 60FPS seems a bit underwhelming… but obviously the reality is this will lay down the yardstick for 4K 60FPS Gaming… whether natively or upscaled with AI.

Of course, this is founders edition. Worth waiting for the branded cards… or the TI? That’ll be another 6-9 months surely?

I like in pip’s video where the guy said that the jump from the 9 series to the 10 series was massive. I still run a 970… on a 4K monitor. How many generations am I behind? lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Just noticed 3080 has less memory than the 1080ti…

I am using 3440x1440 120Hz.

If the 3080 is pushing 4K 60 with RT without DLSS (80fps with DLSS) on Control, that makes me a happy chappy. It’s a hella demanding game, my 2070 Super with max settings RT + DLSS Quality mode hits around 40-50fps

Not sure what’s up with Borderlands, not sure why it only runs at avg 32fps at 4K with the 2080, but if the 3080 is 80% gain would be less than 60fps avg… So yeah not sure what’s up with BL3 (never played it)

Anyhoo my principle thinking is that if it can do 4K 60 with ease (in most scenarios) then 120fps at my resolution won’t be any issue at all and I can play happy and even more happier with DLSS enabled games, RT will be more than playable… CP’77 should look marvellous…

Edit - I think 4K 60fps is comparable to 1440pUW 100fps

I could wait for branded cards sure… But I’d rather have one sooner lol… I was close to getting the 2080Ti, now I can get more performance for half the price

Okay? …

Edit - Still not sure why this is mentioned…

GTX 1080Ti 11GB GDDR5X- 11Gbps - 484GB/s
RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6X - 19Gbps - 760GB/s

At 600ish pounds im defo in. Was expecting to have to fork out way more. I too ready to push button. I like the style of the founder card.

Same here. I was thinking 3070… but I might be able to push the boat out… especially if the water is raytraced. :stuck_out_tongue:
