First man to break the sound barrier, had a fine innings of 97. From a gaming point of view, I think Chuck Yeager’s combat simulator was one of the first flight Sims I played… Great game, with a huge manual describing all the combat manoeuvres you can perform.

The Right Stuff was when I first heard of him. I since read his autobiography which is just incredible. Straddling wars the way he did and being on the bleeding edge of air combat - what a time to have been an airborne warrior.
